Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., said this week that former President Donald Trump will endorse a candidate to primary Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., “who he does not like.”
Greene’s comments come after a week of infighting between herself and Mace, who attracted criticism from Greene after she attacked Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., for making a “disgusting” joke about Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.
Mace’s willingness to attack one of her own colleagues — in this case, Boebert — proves she’s not conservative enough for the House GOP, Greene argued.
“She has attacked me in our conference meetings before, and I’m fed up with her,” Greene told conservative talkshow host Todd Starnes this week. “She’s the trash in the GOP conference, and it’s time to take the trash out.”
Greene said she talked to Trump about her feud with Mace and revealed he hopes to get her kicked out of Congress when she’s up for reelection.
“I had a great conversation with him about Nancy Mace, who he does not like,” she said. “And he is very much looking forward to endorsing a primary challenger against her.”

Mace has come under criticism before from Republicans for endorsing leftist policies, including marijuana legalization and limits on abortion restrictions. She already has several Republican primary candidates: Iraq War veteran T.J. Allen, Army veteran Ingrid Centurion, and military spouse Lynz Piper-Loomis.
Mace responded to Greene’s primary threat by saying, “All I can say about Marjorie Taylor Greene is bless her f***ing heart.”

“I have no tolerance for racism, bigotry, religious bigotry, bullshit or lies by anybody, including Marjorie Taylor Greene,” she said.
“She’s a liar and a grifter of the first order,” she said. “And I don’t tolerate from Democrats or Republicans and I’ve been clear, I’ve been consistent on that since the day I got elected and I’m not going to put up with any of her bullsh*t, never have and never will.”
