Minnesota‘s Richfield Public School district asked children in sex education classes to role play as gays and transgenders, according to Alpha News.
The sex education program used by the district is called the “3Rs” — “rights, respect, responsibility.”
Advocates for Youth, a group with ties to Planned Parenthood, created the program in order to encourage sexual deviancy among children.
According to curriculum, the purpose of the role playing is to force the students into various scenarios.
These scenarios include pretending to be gay or lesbian and to work through whether the couple should have sex.
In one scenario, a student must don the role of “Morgan” who participates in his school’s LGBTQ club.
Another student has to play “Terence,” a boy who wants to have sex with “Morgan.”
The child playing “Morgan” must then “make a decision about whether to have sex.”
In another lesson students from kindergarten through fifth grade had to pretend that they were transgenders exploring their sexual identities. Further, Advocates for Youth designed the curriculum in order to help teachers diagnose “homophobia.”
The curriculum angered parents and members of the community.
“Parents are intentionally being deceived and misled about what their children are being taught,” a parent said at a School Board meeting on Monday.
“This type of teaching has no place in our schools,” another speaker argued.
