Twitter has allowed Taliban spokesmen to share updates about their takeover of Afghanistan, but former president Donald Trump still remains banned from the platform.
Zabihullah Mujahid, who claims to represent the Taliban’s forces in the region, has amassed more than 300,000 followers and regularly provides updates about Afghanistan’s collapse.
He has claimed that the terrorist organization’s takeover has been peaceful despite multiple media reports that Taliban terrorists are hunting down American associates and executing them.
We assure all diplomats, embassies, consulates, and charitable workers, whether they are international or national that not only no problem will be created for them on the part of IEA but a secure environment will be provided to them, Inshallah.

“The general public is happy with the arrival of the Mujahideen and satisfied with the security,” Mujahid claimed.
The Islamic Emirate has ordered its Mujahideen and once again instructs them that no one is allowed to enter anyone’s house without permission. Life, property and honor of none shall be harmed but must be protected by the Mujahedeen.

When asked why Twitter is allowing a terrorist organization to use its platform, a spokesperson said the company will continue to “proactively removing content that violates our policies.”
Meanwhile, Trump is still permanently banned from Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
The former president filed a class action lawsuit against the social media platforms earlier this year, arguing his suspension amounted to “illegal, unconstitutional censorship.”
“We’re demanding an end to the shadow-banning, a stop to the silencing and a stop to the blacklisting, banishing and canceling that you know so well,” Trump said. “I am confident that we will achieve a historic victory for American freedom and at the same time freedom of speech.”
