President Joe Biden’s gaffes—if they can be called such—appeared to be growing in frequency as the pressures of the job bear down upon him.
His gaffe-riddled town-hall with CNN’s Don Lemon last week may only have been the prelude to growing concern over his suspected dementia, with some—such as former White House physician Ronny Jackson—openly speculating that his handlers may seek to invoke the 25th Amendment, if necessary, to declare him unfit for office.
On Sunday, Biden set Twitter abuzz with the hashtag #MyButtsBeenWiped after appearing to boast about his hygienic practices to reporters outside the White House.
On Monday, however, he was more cantankerous, lashing out at NBC News’s Kelly O’Donnell for asking an off-topic question during a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi in the Oval Office.
O’Donnell was cut off while attempting to ask a question about vaccination mandates for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
“You are such a pain in the neck, but I’m going to answer your question because we’ve known each other so long,” Biden responded. “It has nothing to do with Iraq.”
Despite the unprecedented access he afforded to members of the media, former President Donald Trump was often harangued for snapping at them over their unprofessional conduct.
But Biden has repeatedly gotten away with chiding them simply for asking relevant questions.
The media’s kid-gloves double-standard dealing with the 78-year-old Biden didn’t go unnoticed.
If Trump had ever randomly said #MyButtsBeenWiped, CNN and MSNBC would’ve had mental health “experts” on screeching that he should be removed from office 24/7 for the next month.

“Biden’s grasp on normal appropriate interaction appears to be rapidly declining,” wrote the National File.
It noted one of the several alarming examples from last week’s forum, when Biden explained the importance of having parents and other “trusted interlocutors” in the community provide children with the answers to burning questions.
“Think of the people, if your kid wanted to find out whether or not there were, there was a man on the moon or whatever, something,” he said. “Or, you know, whether those aliens are here or not, you know who are the people they talk to beyond the kids who love talking about it?”
Biden also randomly asked reporters if Republicans think “we’re sucking the blood out of kids,” the second reference he’d made recently to sucking bodily fluids from children, National File reported.
