Biden Speaks of COVID, Not Christ, in Easter Message

'Getting vaccinated is a moral obligation...'

President Joe Biden failed to mention Jesus Christ in his Easter message yesterday, opting instead to speak about COVID-19, OANN reported.

He and First Lady Jill Biden delivered the pre-recorded address from Camp David, the presidential vacation spot in Maryland.

In the message the Bidens stressed the benefits of the pork-filled stimulus package passed by Congress last month rather than the resurrection of the Savior of mankind, God incarnate, for whom Easter is celebrated.

“Families are getting the financial help they need to take a breath once again,” Jill Biden said. “Businesses are recovering, and more and more Americans are getting life-saving vaccines.”

President Biden also spoke repeatedly of the vaccine using religious language.

“Getting vaccinated is a moral obligation,” Biden said, suggesting that the vaccine “can save your life and the lives of others.”

While describing the vaccine’s ability to save, both Bidens failed to mention the reason for Easter celebration, Jesus’s resurrection.

Biden’s vaccine messaging comes in a time of increased pushes to mandate the vaccine for participation in public life.

His administration has floated the idea of vaccine passports, despite concerns among the public over the vaccine’s safety.

Biden also stressed the need for continued adherence to state and federal COVID protocols if Americans hope to celebrate future holidays together.

Lockdowns, which began over a year ago, have continued indefinitely throughout much of the country, despite the fact that 75 percent of the total senior population has been vaccinated, according to the CDC.

Apparently unconcerned with the importance of the Christian holiday, the Bidens used the allegedly religious message for political purposes.

“By getting vaccinated and encouraging your congregations and communities to get vaccinated, we not only can beat this virus, we can hasten the day when we can celebrate the holidays together again,” Biden said.
