Left Renews Push to Cancel Goya Food Products After CEO’s CPAC Speech

'My biggest honor today is going to be that, I think, we’re going to be on the same stage as ... the still actual president of the United States, Donald J. Trump...'

Cancel-culture Nazis are trying, yet again, to push for a racist boycott of Latino food purveyor Goya after its CEO reiterated support for former president Donald Trump.

Goya chief Robert Unanue delivered a speech at the recent Conservative Political Action Conference, supporting the belief among 93% of the conservatives in attendance that President Joe Biden’s alleged election victory was marred by widespread vote fraud.

“My biggest honor today is going to be that, I think, we’re going to be on the same stage as, in my opinion, the real, the legitimate, and the still actual president of the United States, Donald J. Trump,” Unanue said, according to The True Reporter.

“… I received, I think—as many people I know, and maybe many of you—unsolicited ballots,” he continued. “So, I mean, as a citizen of the United States, I think I’m allowed to vote once. Once—not twice.”

Without elaborating on the sources, leftist media outlets, including the Guardian, soon reported that social-media slacktivists were using the speech to call, yet again, for Goya to be canceled.

Previous boycott calls followed Unanue’s appearance at a White House event last July.

However, that effort is believed to have backfired, leading to a boost in bean sales from counter-cancel-culture conservatives.

Then White House adviser—and presidential daughter—Ivanka Trump further roiled left-wing attack dogs by tweeting a picture of herself posing with a can of Goya black beans.

Despite the extensive evidence supporting questions about the election’s legality, left-wing conspiracy theorists have pushed the claim that any skepticism expressed about the outcome is part of “The Big Lie,” a concept they borrowed from Adolf Hilter’s Mein Kampf.

The rhetoric appears to be part of a meta-deflection to divert valid accusations that the “Big Lie” was, in fact, the Left’s brazen effort to throw the election by violating both state and federal law under the auspices of coronavirus “emergency” orders.

Among its tactics was the long-derided push for increased mail-in voting—a call that Democrats’ most notorious election fraudsters began on the very day that then-President Donald Trump declared the pandemic a national emergency.

Leftist media and social media outlets have doubled down on their denials, however, by threatening to cancel not only those who utter the suggestion of fraud, but also media that report on it.

That forced some outlets, like the Right Side Broadcasting Network, to self-censor by cutting away from any mention of vote fraud and encouraging viewers to “do your own research” into the arguments in support of the stolen election.
