Dominion Voting Systems Says Mike Lindell is ‘Begging to be Sued’

'At some point we may well oblige him...'

Dominion Voting Systems spokesman Michael Steel threatened Mike Lindell again, saying the MyPillow CEO is “begging to be sued” for defamation over his allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 election.

When asked if Dominion will file more lawsuits in addition to those it has filed against pro-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell and former President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, Steel hinted that there be more to come.

“I’m not here to make news on that front,” Steel told CNN. “But let me say this: Mike Lindell is begging to be sued, and at some point we may well oblige him.”

Dominion has already threatened Lindell, along with several others, with “imminent” legal action, accusing Lindell of having “positioned himself as a prominent leader of the ongoing misinformation campaign” that Dominion was somehow behind Trump’s loss.

Lindell, however, said he welcomes Dominion’s lawsuit because it will give him the chance to give the courts all of the evidence he has obtained in recent weeks.

Some of this evidence was included in a two-hour documentary about the 2020 election that Lindell released online over the weekend.

If Dominion does not sue Lindell, he said he would take legal action against the company.

“I will go after them, if there is a way to do it, I will do that for the American people,” Lindell said last week. “The truth needs to come out. So if the truth does not come out, here, and they keep suppressing it, what other recourse do I have, then I have to bring them to court, and Smartmatic, bring them all to court.”

Steel dismissed Lindell’s threats and warned that the “truth” would catch up to him.

“I think he’s trying to get ahead of the fact that he is spreading disinformation, spreading lies,” Steel responded. “This latest ‘documentary’ that he aired is nothing but the same old half-baked conspiracy theories repackaged.”
