Nearly 2 in 3 Voters Think Progressives Will Respond Violently to Trump Reelection

'It is interesting to note that last week more people thought Republicans would cheat rather than Democrats...'

A poll released on Monday showed that 62 percent of voters believe that it is at least somewhat likely that progressives will commit acts of violence if President Donald Trump wins reelection.

The poll, conducted by JustTheNews.com, found that more than one third of voters, 34 percent, think that it is very likely that progressives will respond violently to a Trump reelection, Ballotpedia reported.

Voters were far less likely to believe that conservative Republicans would respond with violence if former Vice President Joe Biden—currently the presumptive Democrat nominee—won the 2020 presidential election.

It is interesting to note that last week more people thought Republicans would cheat rather than Democrats,” said Rasmussen.

Slightly more than one third, 38 percent, of voters said they saw conservative-backed violence as at least somewhat likely.

Only 16 percent said that they believed violence from conservatives is very likely.

Democrats are anticipating violence more heavily than Republicans, with 53 percent of those who identify as Democrats saying that violence is somewhat likely no matter the victor in the presidential election.

Republicans and independents believe that violence is more likely if Trump wins the election.

The JustTheNews poll follows month of organized political violence from neo-Marxist groups that are associated with the Democratic Party, including Black Lives Matter and Antifa.

Antifa and Black Lives Matter have indicated in their official platforms and rhetoric that they want to erase America’s culture, heritage and traditions, as well as eliminate capitalism, private healthcare, two-parent families and the rule of law.
