Quickly Deleted WaPo Headline Admits Garland Politicized DOJ

'Translation: Our “Editors” in the Woke Twitter Community Freaked Out, So, Of Course, We Immediately Caved To Their Wishes…'

(Headline USA) The Washington Post deleted a tweet this week that admitted the Justice Department’s raid of former President Donald Trump’s home was political.

The headline of the story from the Post originally read, “Garland vowed to depoliticize Justice. Then the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago.”

The story prompted outrage on Twitter among leftists, leading the Post to remove the tweet and repost it using a different headline.

The headline now reads, “FBI’s search of Mar-a-Lago lands Merrick Garland in a political firestorm.”

“Clarification: A previous tweet of this story had a headline that has changed after publishing,” the Post said in a statement. “We’ve deleted the tweet.”

Conservatives blasted the Post for caving to offended leftists:

But, ironically, many on the Left still weren’t satisfied:

Attorney General Merrick Garland admitted on Thursday that he “personally” signed off on the FBI’s search warrant.

“The search warrant was authorized by a federal court upon the required finding of probable cause,” Garland said, adding that he has asked the Justice Department to unseal the warrant “in light of the former president’s public confirmation of the search, the surrounding circumstances, and the substantial public interest in this matter.”
