Mike Lindell, Lee Zeldin Emerge as Challengers for RNC Chair, as Ronna McDaniel Vows to Repeat

'What the party needs right now is a unifying message like that one, which resonates with voters of all backgrounds to reject failed leftist policy stances and ideologies...'

(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Former gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., and Mike Lindell have emerged as candidates to oppose Ronna Romney McDaniel for the chair of the Republican National Committee after a disappointing showing in the 2022 election.

Zeldin, though he lost his bid for governor, was at the top of the New York State party ticket that was so successful it has been called a red wave.

More impressive is the fact that Zeldin did not run as a RINO, according to the Washington Examiner. Instead, he “hammered” Democrats on their authoritarian vaccine mandates, degenerate school choices, soaring crime and other failures. This message united the New York Republican party and produced one of the most impressive outcomes of the 2022 election.

The Examiner’s Kenny Cody, wrote, “What the party needs right now is a unifying message like that one, which resonates with voters of all backgrounds to reject failed leftist policy stances and ideologies. That is why Lee Zeldin needs to be the next chairman of the Republican National Committee.”

Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, has other plans and told Steve Bannon that he would run for the chair. He said, “I am 100% running for the RNC chairman against Ronna McDaniel.”

Romney-McDaniel, Mitt Romney’s daughter and current chair of the RNC, has signaled that she will run again, according to Axios. The member of the extended Romney family has scheduled a post-mortem for her failure in the 2022 election, reported the Examiner.

The member of the Romney clan has also led the charge for the Republican party to include homosexuals, as reported by Metro Weekly. Romney pitched the move as an “outreach” and attempted to justify her behavior by citing President Trump’s embrace of homosexuals.

McDaniel also sought to leverage the approval of an ambassadorship for the sake of donations from a mega-donor and appointee of President Trump, according to the Detroit Free Press.

The RNC will have to decide if Mitt Romney’s sprawling family tree will continue to cast shade on the Republican Party.
