Michigan Rally Demands Forensic Audit of 2020 Election

'To reestablish confidence among Michigan voters that every legal vote must count and be counted the way the voter cast their vote... '

Michiganders who want a forensic audit to investigate fraud in the state’s 2020 election results held a rally this week outside the State Capitol in Lansing.

The six-page petition, organized by AuditMI.org, calls for an election audit by amending Michigan Election Law 168.31.

The petition states that the audit’s purpose is “to reestablish confidence among Michigan voters that every legal vote must count and be counted the way the voter cast their vote, to verify that all legal citizen voters were, and will be, treated with equal protection under the law.”

The noontime rally on a near-freezing day in Michigan failed to draw more than a few dozen supporters, according to pictures from Jonathan Oosting, who reports for Bridge Michigan.

The ralliers delivered the petition, which has not yet received the requisite number of signatures, to far-left Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.

Candidates for office and Republican Party officials attended the rally.

With Democrats controlling the governorship, the attorney general’s office, and the secretary of state’s office, it is unlikely that the forensic audit will proceed.

The petition’s language calls for an election audit commission to investigate 28 types of election records, including voter registration data, absentee ballot applications and envelopes, ballots, poll books, electronic voting machines, and much more.

In October, a forensic audit rally drew a huge crowd.
