Manchin Calls Out Leftist Media ‘Bulls**t’; Denies Possible Party Switch

'... Spelled with B, u, l, l---capital B!'

Sen. Joe Manchin, D.-WVa, is fed up with the “Bulls***” leftist media, the Gateway Pundit reported.

According to the report, Mother Jones writer David Corn recently claimed that Manchin has concocted a plan to switch over from the Democrat Party to independent status.

“In recent days, Sen. Joe Manchin has told associates that he is considering leaving the Democratic Party if President Joe Biden and Democrats on Capitol Hill do not agree to his demand to cut the size of the social infrastructure bill from $3.5 trillion to $1.75 trillion,” Corn wrote.

If Manchin were to leave the party, it could have serious consequences. Potentially flipping the majority even before voters have the opportunity to do so in the 2022 midterm election.

Corn claimed that Manchin “has a two-step plan for exiting the party,” which involves sending “a letter to Sen. Chuck Schumer, the top Senate Democrat, removing himself from the Democratic leadership of the Senate.”

The supposed second stage is to wait “about a week” before changing his “voter registration from Democrat to independent.”

But Manchin insisted these reports were merely gossip.

“I have no control of rumors, guys. No control of rumors,” Manchin said when questioned on Corn’s report.

Reporters asked Manchin about the potential change again on Wednesday, but this time he lost his temper.

“I can’t control rumors, and it’s bulls**t, bulls**t spelled with B, u, l, l—capital b!” he responded sharply, raising his voice.

Manchin used a similar expletive when confronting Schumer over a recent Senate floor diatribe, during which the dismayed reaction of the blue-dog centrist went viral.

Corn and Mother Jones stood behind the report on Thursday, claiming that the sourcing was “impeccable” and that Manchin had since changed his story.
