Gingrich Slams Biden for Arrest and Raid of Anti-Abortion Catholic Man

'Imagine what they are watching as their father is taken away... '

(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Former Speaker of The House Newt Gingrich slammed President Joe Biden for inspiring an obviously partisan arrest of an anti-abortion Catholic pastor in front of his children.

The Department of Justice has charged Mark Houck, the anti-abortion Catholic man, with a violation of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, according to the Washington Examiner. The DOJ claims that this act “makes it a federal crime to use force with the intent to injure, intimidate, and interfere with anyone because that person is a provider of reproductive health care.”

The actual event was less clear. The “victim” shouted in the face of Houck’s son while volunteering for Planned Parenthood, and Houck pushed “the victim” away from his son. The “victim” attempted to sue Houck in civil court but lost.

The resulting arrest was unjustifiably aggressive. Because Houck pushed a man yelling at his children, “Early in the morning on Friday, a SWAT team of 25-30 heavily armed FBI agents arrived at the Houck’s rural property in 15 vehicles,” reported the Examiner.

Houck’s wife answered the door saying, “Please, I’m going to open the door, but, please, my children are in the home. I have seven babies in the house.’ But they just kept pounding and screaming.” When Houck’s wife asked for a warrant, the arresting officer said, “they were going to take him whether they had a warrant or not.”

The couple’s seven children watched these event, after being jolted from sleep by federal agents. The Houcks are seeking psychological treatment for their children, according to the Examiner.

Gingrich implored people to “imagine what they are watching as their father is taken away.” He blamed Biden’s vicious rhetoric for creating a political environment where this could happen.

Citing Biden’s “red rally,” Gingrich told Fox News, “Look, I think when you are the president of the United States, you have a speech in Philadelphia that describes half of his fellow Americans as enemies, and uses that kind of language, you have an escalation.”

Gingrich argued that Houck deserved political honors because he “voluntarily drives two hours into Philadelphia to be a missionary to people who are drug addicts, alcoholics, people who have had their lives shattered.”

The Biden regime, “instead of glorifying a person who is speaking for God and raising his children and trying to be a good person,” sent “people with weapons at 7:00 in the morning,” Gingrich said.
