Biden White House Updates Contact Form to Include Pronouns Options

'Pronouns matter, and adding inclusive pronouns to a contact form is more than just a demonstration of allyship...'

President Biden’s administration updated the White House’s online contact form to give users the option to list their preferred pronouns.

The new contact form gives users several gender identity options: “she/her,” “he/him,” “they/them,” “other” or “prefer not to share.”

The website also now offers expanded options for honorific prefixes, including “Mx.,” “other (please specify),” and “none,” alongside “Mr.,” “Mrs.,” and “Dr.”

An LGBT activist group celebrated the change as an important step toward inclusivity.

“On Day One, the Biden administration has taken immediate steps to include trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people in the conversation,” said Sarah Kate Ellis, president and CEO of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

“Pronouns matter, and adding inclusive pronouns to a contact form is more than just a demonstration of allyship.”

Conservatives pointed to the new website as proof that the Biden administration’s priorities were taken straight from the leftist-activist handbook.

Biden also signed an executive order on Wednesday to reinstate Obama-era Title IX regulations allowing transgender students to choose the bathroom or locker room of their preference.

Under the Obama-era rule, all schools receiving federal funds must allow transgender students to use whichever bathroom and locker room they choose or risk having their funding withdrawn.
