Author Says White House Is Preparing For Hunter Biden Indictment

'And I think this [NYT] article is an effort to frame the conversation in a way that could be the most favorable to them... '

(Headline USAAuthor Peter Schweizer, who has investigated corruption in both the Clinton and Biden families, argued the mainstream media has only now admitted that Hunter Biden’s laptop is legitimate because they are preparing for an indictment.

Hunter Biden has been under federal investigation for more than a year for his shady foreign business dealings and alleged tax fraud. Many of these business deals were documented on his laptop, which he abandoned at a Delaware computer repair shop.

The media, however, dismissed reports about the laptop and what it contained as “Russian disinformation,” and Big Tech companies prohibited all circulation of the story.

But just last week, the New York Times admitted in a report about the investigation into Hunter Biden that a number of federal authorities had verified the laptop as legitimate.

“People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between Mr. Biden, Mr. [Devon] Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity. Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation,” the Times’s report said.

Schweizer told Fox News this week that the Times’s acknowledgment is proof that an indictment of Hunter Biden is coming.

“I think this New York Times piece, the fact that they got cooperation from Team Biden and probably from the Hunter Biden legal team, is an indication that they are extremely concerned he’s going to be indicted,” he said.

“It’s very clear that when it comes to the issues related to the tax evasion and money laundering and the other issues wrapped up with it, they are extremely concerned Hunter Biden’s going to be indicted,” Schweizer said. “And I think this article is an effort to frame the conversation in a way that could be the most favorable to them.”
